Lynette Poulton Kamakura was ordained a Deacon on October 7, 2023, and was assigned by our Bishop to serve at St. Luke’s ~ San Lucas Episcopal Church in Vancouver, Washington. 
 

A retired Foreign Service Officer, she spent many years living and working overseas, giving her a passion for immigrant and refugee issues. She is also an experienced negotiator and mediator, bringing these skills to her diaconal work in community reconciliation. She loves languages, and can converse in English, Spanish, French and Russian.
